Amsterdam, 2023.

Emma, Elena, Miguel, Irene, and Fer met at the WWCS. Following Fer’s passion for signed networks, they spent a week working on a small project that culminated in a presentation on Piqué and Shakira, along with other major consequences. In fact, they ended up organizing the next WWCS in Catalunya, and recruiting Sofia and Antoine to write a literature review on signed networks. Since then, FRIENDS haven’t stopped! We have been organizing a yearly satellite event, inviting speakers and contributed talks on signed networks, aiming to include as many perspectives from different fields as possible.
